Concepts: The wave model of change
For the holistic optimization of corporate processes the method used by hsp AG is the wave model of change. The wave model is a practice-oriented approach for the implementation of holistic change processes

With every wave, the change process is actively supported by concrete actions and measures. Thus, the degree of target achievement is improved. The important thing is to start a new wave before the previous wave fades away. This course of action is called process choreography.

The intelligent and customer-specific design of the single waves and their sequence are an important and lasting success factor.

Before starting a change process, a brief analysis and determination of the status quo is carried out to get the answers for the following questions:

• Where is the corporation located on the life cycle graph?
• Which activities and projects are planned, in progress or completed?
• What are the strengths and weaknesses the corporation experienced in its past when implementing projects?
• Which areas having which potential could be targeted in the future?
• What could the further course of action look like?
