The lasting effect of hsp AG projects is based on a holistic approach, the "iceberg principle".
The iceberg principle is a model considering not only the visible, subject-logic level, but also the invisible emotional level. According to the iceberg principle, the subject-logic level (strategy, structures, processes and funtions) generates a leverage of only approximately 10%, and the emotional cultural level (relationship processes, social skills, attitude and motivation) a leverage of approximately 90% in successful change processes.
This does not mean the 10% level is not necessary. An intelligent combination of both levels is needed. According to the iceberg principle, management and staff are actively integrated into the change process during process optimization and in change management projects. Thus, we create a high level of acceptancy for necessary changes and achieve a high degree of implementation.
